Probicare ja Probicare Pro – Combination of Quality and Expertise

Our client, Orion Corporation, previously tasked us with designing the launch of an entirely new type of probiotic cream, Probicare. Now, as Orion prepared to introduce a Pro version of the Probicare cream, they sought Reflex’s expertise to once again communicate the product’s premium quality effectively.

Our long-standing partnership with Orion is built on mutual trust, particularly in our understanding of the scientific research that underpins the pharmaceutical industry. As a result, we were commissioned to design the visual and messaging concept for a new product category: probiotic creams.

After extensive product development, Orion had created a cream containing Lactococcus lactis cell extract, an ingredient known for its skin-renewing and strengthening properties. Combined with other key components, this formed an entirely novel cream. The challenge was to communicate these benefits effectively to both consumers and professionals.

We began by studying the product’s ingredients and their effects on sensitive and reactive skin. This research guided the creation of a clear and impactful brand message: “Probicare – The Defender of Atopic and Sensitive Skin.” We built the concept around the idea of a cream that addresses several key skincare challenges with an innovative approach.

The launch campaign initially targeted doctors and pharmacy staff. This was followed by a large-scale, visually striking campaign aimed at consumers, featuring advertorials to explain the product’s benefits to a broad audience. The launch was a resounding success, with Probicare making a bold and memorable entry into the market.

Reflex Was Ready for the Pro

Orion developed an advanced version of their Probicare cream, specifically designed as a facial cream, called Probicare Pro, and for its launch, they once again sought a creative solution from us. The client found our previous concept so effective that they wanted it simply enhanced to highlight the features of the Pro version.

The brief included colour guidelines and a request to use a foiling technique on the tube. Orion aimed to give the new product a sense of luxury, so our team crafted a combination of a luxurious turquoise colour and bronze foiling.

In the communication strategy for the Probicare Pro launch, we focused on appealing to consumers by emphasising the product’s clearly advanced skin-caring effects. We created a comprehensive concept for the scientifically-based, probiotic facial cream that seamlessly combines the reliability of a pharmacy product with a sense of luxury. The multi-channel launch campaign, targeted at different consumer groups, was presented as a polished ensemble across both pharmacies and media outlets.
